The team met this week to discuss copy.
Adam, Courtney, John and myself all reviewed John’s design comps and decided that the overall content needed to be refined before we start editing copy. John agreed to simplify the evaluate page to improve the eClick offering message. We also discussed not confusing the potential client. Just as we find with our clients, sometimes we are bored saying the same things over and over again so we try to be creative with copy only to lose the original message.
I think the team agreed that we do not have to specify exactly what eClick is offering as it evolves and we offer custom solutions to our clients. The site should explain our services and encourage them to contact us to learn more how we can offer them solutions.
Of course we still need a clear call to action to contact us. My recurring concern that is on the back-burner for now.
Next week, we meet with a back-end developer to discuss the client log-in functionality.
